DESCRIPTION
There are several reasons for including
Sheen Falls Lodge in a visit to Ireland.
First of all, the hotel enjoys a truly memorable
location - partly overlooking its own cascading
waterfall and a lovely saltwater bay with
the Caha mountains in the distance.
Sheen
Falls was originally an 18th Century fishing
lodge and in 1988 was purchased by its present
owner who spent £12 million on refurbishment
and expansion. It now enjoys the status
of one of Ireland's leading 5-star hotels,
has one of the highest ratings in the Egon
Ronay Guide and is a member of Relais &
Châteaux. |

AMENITIES
And if you can bear to leave the comforts
of the Lodge, there is a plethora of activities
to keep you entertained - on-site riding
stables with horses for guided treks, salmon
and trout fishing on the River Sheen, Clay
pigeon shooting, floodlit tennis and a Health
and Fitness Centre with gymnasium, Jacuzzi,
sauna, plunge pool and steam room.
Beauty
treatments include massages, aromatherapy
and reflexology.
The
pretty town of Kenmare with its charming
